Since September 2012, I hadn't had an invitation for visiting charity vets like previous years, and not really sure why. Anyway I heard that neutering was going to take place on the island of Spetses. Neutering is hugely important, so I contacted the person and yes she agreed for me to bring a few pussy cats over. I couldn't manage many, because of car transport, then boat, then to the location. 
Sadly though, one cats that was really in a bad way, was put to sleep because it seemed he was riddled with cancer. Poor soldier!!!! I think the poor fella knew it was the end for him, because he never fought. Even though they are feral strays, I still get very upset. Anyway the one that made the most noise on the boat there and back was little SMUDGE, to Greeks comments of 'souvlaki'. It was funny though, because when I arrived at Spetses, the port police came running as they thought I was dumping all the pussy cats on the island. As if I would!!!! A very long day, but worth it, even though only 15 were neutered at a cost of 25 Euros per cat, which all came out of my own pocket again.https://www.facebook.com/Greekstrays?ref=hl
