'ANIMALS SHARE WITH US THE PRIVILEGE OF HAVING A SOUL' ~ Pythagoras

'THE GREATNESS OF A NATION AND ITS MORAL PROGRESS CAN BE JUDGED BY THE WAY ITS ANIMALS ARE TREATED' ~ Mahatma Gandhi

I left the UK and came to live in this beautiful part of Greece with two cats in 2005. Never did I think that animal welfare/rescuing would take over all other planned activities. The plight of these helpless innocent souls is heartbreaking.

The 'Cereal' gang

Meet our three gorgeous fluffy girlies:  Cornflake, Wheetabix and Sugarpuff.   All three were feral and we could never get close to them. They were very wary of us, but we still fed them by a couple of large metal bins.  As a result of us feeding, they became very friendly and we were able stroke them.  Then we managed to catch them and have them neutered.  From neutering, we took them to the large piece of field, where we have managed to keep many other cats, which is only a temporary holding area, which we refer to as our sanctuary.  We wish to raise funds for Greek strays, so if you wish to make a donation to help us, then please click on either of the links below, where you will be able to read more about our cause:
